Get Into Serving!
We are excited to welcome your team to the Motor City to serve alongside Detroiters in economic disaster recovery work. You’ll stay at accommodations sites around the city. You’ll work with amazing partner orgs on Home Repair, Greening/Feeding and Social Services projects. You may even meet other volunteer teams from around the world! For $299/person Motown Mission 2025 weeks include the following coordinated by our staff:
Accommodations at Metropolitan UMC, Calvary UMC and other similar locations around Detroit
Meals (Breakfasts, Make-Your-Own Bag Lunches, Dinners)
Projects Monday-Friday
Daytime Digital Devotions & Evening In-Person Devotions
One evening cultural event like a Detroit Tigers baseball game, a street arts workshop, musical concert or other.
Access to a Motown Mission Discord server for sharing photos and staying in touch with other group leaders and volunteers.
